Greetings Fellow Swing Enthusiasts!
We are pleased to announce our 2012 Concert Series line-up! Based on your feedback from recent surveys, we have catered this concert to the overwhelming responses we received in terms of what you, our audience, want us to play. We kick off our season with “A Salute to the Stage and Screen” on April 14 and will feature the well-known showstoppers that have energized the stage and screen. Featuring a great line-up of guest vocalists, this will be a concert you won’t want to miss! Following our salute we follow up with “Crooner’s Sing! Diva’s Swing” highlighting the great vocalists of swing! Wrapping up the summer, we then will perform our infectious Latin-charged show “Salsa Celebration”. The uniqueness of this concert will be in the Salsa contest that allows you to sample some of the tastiest salsa recipes and vote on your favorite before the concert ends. We will wrap up our 2012 season with our annual holiday concert “Swingin’ Holiday Season…BY REQUEST” where you the audience gets to vote throughout the season and we count down the 10 most requested Christmas songs.
Our mission is simple…to keep alive and preserve the big band sound by providing a live performance of the great music that has withstood the test of time. We exist because you, our audience, supports our cause through your love of swing music and your attendance to our concerts. Our goal is to grow our audience and through your support and word of mouth, we hope to make 2012 a stellar year for growth in audience attendance!
